Putaway - System Directed

Once all products have been received for the inbound shipment through the receiving process, the last step involves putting away the the freight. Within JASCI’s put away (slotting) process there are two different flows for an operator putting away freight, System and User Directed.

Here we will detail the steps for a System Directed putaway.

Select Putaway from Menu

First, navigate to Inbound->Mobile Putaway->Putaway - Directed

Perform the Putaway

  • The operator then scans the put away LPN on the freight

  • If a valid LPN is scanned, the system will display the putaway location

    • If the LPN is not valid, an error message is displayed the operator is returned to the Scan LPN screen

  • The screen will then display product information, including the location the system has determined the product should go.

  • The user will then scan that location and the putaway will be complete.
