From the lookup screen, you can edit existing profiles, or create new ones with the green ‘Add New’ button.
Once on the maintenance screen, there are several required and optional fields to populate, including:
Fulfillment Center - Specify which fulfillment center the locations belong to (if there are multiple FCs)
Number of Locations - How many locations will be associated with this profile.
Profile Group - Specify which group this location profile falls under.
Location Profile - System ID of the location profile to be used in other flows, such as location maintenance.
Location Type - Choose the location type, which determines how inventory can be picked - default types are Case (cases can be picked from a pallet), Pallet (entire pallet must be picked - no partial picking), Prime (partial picking allowed) and Virtual (no physical location associated - usually temporary paw/pak/shp location).
Location Width/Depth/Weight/Height Capacities - Specify dimensions for these locations. (Used in slotting logic)
Allocation Allowable - Locations are available for picking or not.
Free Location when Zero - Once inventory in the location reaches zero, the locations will be freed to be used again for slotting.
Free Prime Location - How many days until a location becomes available again.
Multiple Products in Same Location - Allow different products to be stored in the single location, and specify how many different products are allowed.
Slotting - Allows for system directed or manual slotting.
Location Check - Enable location checks for these locations
Slot Product Categories - Here you can select an option from previously setup categories and assign a location profile to a certain product category.
