Overview
This new feature will help users fix the orders on their own. This new program is called 'Restart Work' and the purpose of this program is to search for work, manually send it back to Trouble with the intention to re-allocate it, and effectively ‘restart’ the order.
Restart Work
This new feature will need to be added as a new menu option called 'Restart Work' through the front end (Menu Profiles Maintenance screen).
...
Users will first need the authority level for this program that is ‘ORDERMANAGEMENT’.
...
The program is in the path: 'Outbound' -> 'Lookup' -> 'Restart Work', where you can search by WCN or Sales Order ID.
...
Once you select the WCN to be restarted, it will display header and line details of the Work that was selected in previous screen(s) and restart it (send it to trouble) if initiated by the user.
Please note that if the Work was already picked, we will display the message bellow, where the user can proceed with the restart but will have to do an inventory adjustment for the picked products:
“Picks have been completed for this work. Proceed with restarting order? Note: picked product will need to be manually adjusted back into inventory”
After the user restarts the WCN, it will be in Trouble View, ready for release.
...
If work is already in TROUBLE: "Order already in TROUBLE. Cannot Restart"
If work has already been shipped: "Order shipped. Cannot Restart"
If work has PACKSHIP work that has been shipped: "Order shipped. Cannot Restart"
If work is assigned to PUTWALL: “Order assigned to PUTWALL: PUTWALL_ID PUTWALL_CUBE_ID. Process order out of Putwall before restarting"
if work is actively on cart: "Active cart found with work: Cart ID. Work must be processed from cart before it can be restarted"
Setting Up The Maintenance Screen:

...
