Editing the Return Address

  • AUTHORITY

    • Please note that the Authority ‘SYSTEM’ needs to be set up in order to change company address information. Otherwise, certain fields will be greyed out and cannot be edited.

    • To update return address in the labels, customer will need to update the address in the follow maintenance screens: 

      • Company Maintenance 

      • Fulfillment Centers Maintenance 

      • Shipper Froms 

      • Carrier Maintenance

Editing a Carrier

  • After clicking ‘Edit’ on the Carrier of choice, all pertinent information, such as contacts, addresses, and names.

  • Click on ‘Add New’ to add additional information about the carrier service. , and auto-populated information from carrier integrations will be shown.

  • Important values to keep in mind:

    • Enabled: This value will need to be marked as ‘Yes’ in order to use the carrier.

    • Execution: This value will already have an auto-populated value, depending on the carrier that you are editing.

      • ShippingConnector:A service API program that calls carriers, then gets a response from the carrier for a rate, tracking number, and shipping label.

      • ShipRetail: A JASCI internal WMS program that creates ship retail labels.

Adding Carrier Service

  • Depending on the carrier, different carrier services will auto-populate, which offer different service levels.

  • To add a new carrier service, click on the green ‘Add New’ button, and enter the columns with the appropriate information.

    • The ‘Enabled’ column must be the check box checked off as ‘true’ in order to be able to use the carrier service.

  • Make sure to Save/Update the new carrier to save your changes.

Modifying Carrier Service

  • To de-activate a carrier service, the ‘Enabled’ column must have the ‘true’ check box un-checked. To do so, click on ‘true', then the check box will appear.

  • Make sure to Save/Update to confirm this change.

  • To re-activate a carrier service, follow the same procedure, but re-check the ‘Enabled’ column.

  • Make sure to Save/Update to confirm this change.
