Overview
Cycle Count Controls can be tailored to specific Areas and allow for fine-tuning of factors such as count methods, quantity of cycle counts, variance display, max variance, location checks and more.
Select Cycle Count Controls
Cycle Count Controls can typically be found under the Inventory menu in Cycle Count->CC Controls.
Once selected, you can click the green ‘Add New’ button to create rules for a new Area, or click the blue ‘Edit’ button to edit existing controls. The ‘Copy’ button can also be a helpful tool, if you intend to have multiple areas with identical or similar rules.

Adjusting Cycle Count Controls
When setting new rules, or editing old ones, there are many options to adjust. These include Count Method (Units of Measure), Display Variance (All, Partial, or None), Cutting Rules, Expiration Date Validation, allowed variance percent, and ability to allocate despite a location check.
Once all rules have been set, click the blue ‘Save/Update’ button
